The general appearance of the advertisement is realistic as it has a well-known artist Beyoncé Knowles and her mother, Tina Knowles. The organization of images is straight with no layers. This depicts the simplicity of the product being promoted. The bright colors are used in addition to the high contrast make the adverse more detailed and thus appealing to a careful observer. The celebrity is dreading a beautiful decent orange dress portraying her lean body. This is used to prove that consuming milk can lead to fat loss.

On the other hand, her mother is dressed in a conservative mom costume, something that is used to portray responsibility and stability. Both women have white residue around their mouths to portray that they drink the milk. This further destroys the negative perception of consuming food, portrayed as indulgence and gluttony. The photo’s setting is indoors, with the proximity between the two celebrities showing affection. Luxurious furniture in the background is a form of Bourgeoisie, confirming the artist’s success.

Like Beyoncé is a familiar person to most people due to her contribution as an artist, milk is a very familiar drink. The artist’s face draws the observer to the advert. This leaves the observer wondering about the woman sitting behind her. The observer is then forced to read the text, where they learn that this is Tina Knowles, the artist’s mother. The text seems to the artist’s works where she cites scientific research on the impact of milk on the individual’s health. The key question in the advert is whether the audience has milk (Ford).

In Beyoncé Knowles’ words, the advertisement makes a logical appeal. She makes a factual argument that women who consume milk tend to lose weight. This is better so if they consume low-fat milk. Her claim is quite true as low-fat milk tends to facilitate fat loss and the possible gaining of muscles. Therefore, milk might have played a key role in building a healthy body like Beyoncé’s. The pathos in the advertisement is affection and maternal love as portrayed between Beyoncé and Tina Knowles (Romanova et al.). The artist’s beautiful and lean body gives her the right to explain how she has attained this to other women.
