The evidence of the existence of God is central in the Philosophy of Science and the understanding of the scientific method. There are multiple arguments on the existence of God, which are often based on science, subjective perception, logic, metaphysics, and empirical evidence. Atheism is a position in the debate of the existence of good that is more in line with the scientific point of view. In this case, based on the fact that there is no adequate and objective evidence on the existence of God, there it would be illogical to believe that God exists. This essay shall explore the argument that the absence of evidence that God exists is evidence that believing in the existence of God is illogical.
Is the Existence of God Logical
One of the central concepts in this interrogation is the concept of logic. Science facilitates the systematic exploration of the various aspects of the natural world to understand the laws of nature. Logic is the art and science of proper reasoning based on discovering the rules between good and bad reasoning.
Therefore, logic provides the interaction between the various aspects of an idea based on the rational process. In the question of the existence of God, informal logic is used whereby deductive and inductive reasoning is used in making the argument of the existence of God. Theists often argue that the elegance of the laws of physics could be used as evidence of the existence of a creator (Sober, 2000).
Additionally, the fact that physical mechanisms in the body cannot explain human consciousness is an indication that a god can exist with non-physical aspects. The relationship between science and religion is critical in understanding God’s existence. The two subjects tap into different aspects of human existence. In science, the evidence is drawn from the natural environment through experiments. This evidence can be checked independently by other scientists to guarantee objectivity. The question of the existence of God is answered with a hypothesis framed to confirm or disprove the existence of God.
Existence of God: Empirical and Objective Evidence
The theists do not rely on empirical and objective evidence to prove that God exists (Douven, 2021). The existence of God is taught to people who become believed and depend on their subjective experience to prove the existence of God. On the other hand, science is a tool for explaining the dynamics of the physical universe. However, it does not explain the purpose of the universal questions that philosophers and theologians address.
It is important to understand what is necessary to conclude that God does not exist. In order to determine whether the absence of God is evidence of the absence of God, it is necessary to know what would entail concluding that God does not exist. Theists have for millennia argued that the existence of human beings and other creatures is evidence that God exists.

Charles Darwin, however, proved that human beings have evolved over millions of years as they adapt to the changing condition of the plant (Sober, 2000). This disapproves that God created humankind about six millennia ago. Therefore, evolution proves that God did not create humankind; the same case applies to other animals. The conclusion that God does not exist can also be perceived as stronger, and the burden of proof lies on those who claim that God does not exist.

Therefore, the lack of evidence is informative; for example, if the question was on the side effects of a drug, the absence of evidence is evidence that there are no side effects. According to this interpretation, the absence of evidence that God exists is evidence that God does not exist. Theists believe that God creates an expectation of evidence; thus, the absence of this evidence is significant. If there is no scientific evidence that God exists, then it would be unscientific to believe God exists.
Is Theism Rational
On the other hand, theists claim that there is God, which is independent of scientific evidence. In this case, subjective arguments are used whereby personal witnesses are used to backing undoubted evidence of God’s existence. To them, God is metaphysically the ultimate being with both simple and absolute sovereignty. On the other hand, the classical theists believe that God cannot be wholly defined as including his existence (Sober, 2015). In this case, the subjective arguments tend to conflict from one religion to another, in the case of the identity of God and its requirements upon humanity.
Evidence of the Existence of God
