PROMPT / CONSIDERATION:  TDA Consideration: Part 1, characterize the nature of motivation, including its importance and essential historical perspectives.  Part 2, select a motivation theory – your choice.  Provide the reader with a brief overview of the theory.  Close with one or two specific examples of how and why your chosen theory may help a manager/leader perform better.  Examples and citations expected. Point Makers & Breakers:  1. Use the required template and focus on the CARE / DO-FIX areas by applying real-world examples. 2. More why and how than what. 3. Make sure your scholarly references are directly associated with a corresponding parenthetical citation. 4. Examples are very welcome application drivers. 5.
